Pumpkin Farm Fun

We had to find a new pumpkin farm this year. We found two! One as a family and with Connor's preschool class. They were both a lot of fun. We went to the farm one Saturday evening as a family to explore and pick out the kids "big" pumpkins. We were able to go through the corn maze (after dark), pet the animls at the petting zoo, eat some yummy junk food, and of course we got our pumpkins. Connor wanted the biggest one that they had and Maddie wanted the smallest one.

When we went to the Farm with Connor's class we were able to see a real working farm. We learned all about soy beans, corn, and wheat. We fed the cows half an ear of corn. Connor would not feed the cows because they were slobbering. Maddie decided to feed the 2 ton bull! We also feed the goats and donkies. They took us on a "hay" ride, that we found out was really straw because hay is not a good thing to sit in, to a pumpkin patch and picked pumpkins to take home.

Both farms were a lot of fun and we look forward to going again next year!

Connor's 4th Birthday!

Connor turned 4 on October 8th this year! Wow, it's hard to believe that we have a 4 year old. Since we are close to family now, we were able to throw a big party. We invited our family and had over 30 people attend. It was awsome. We had a bounce house, pinata, and lots of games.
