Big Announcement

Well, we found out yesterday that we are moving back to Florida...in 2 weeks! We have to be out of the house we are in now by Aug. 30 and Ryan asked where we'd be heading next so that we can get going, and they told him to bring us back to Florida. We have not touched one thing to pack so we are furiously getting the movers in motion to get here and pack us. I am also going to have to look for a j.o.b. That's right folks, I'm back to teaching little kiddos again. Unfortunatly, there are no jobs in the area, so I may have to commute at bit. I also have to find a school for the kids to go to. Needless to say, we have a LOT to do. Please pray for us that all of this will fall into place and work itself out.

Splish Splash

On Friday, we went up to the pool with a couple of our friends and had a blast swimming. The kids all swam on their own, with us right by them of course. They were jumping into the pool on their own and having lots of water wars with eachother. It's amazing to see how far they have come in their swimming. Mr. Man is swimming on his own (where he can touch) and diving for rings at the bottom of the pool. Miss M is floating on her back with her swimmies on and jumping into the pool by herself. I love watching them and can't wait until we have our own pool of them to practice in more.

Here is Mr. Man swimming to the edge by himself.
Miss M floating peacefully in the pool.

Then of course, we have to take time out to watch the train go by (actually 3 went by in the hour and a half we were there), this is how they watched each of them. They were so funny!

Of course we had to pretend to be sharks at some point. So here are the boys being sharks and Miss M watching on, probably wondering what in the world these boys are doing.

We have these rocket things that shoot water. The kids all love them and had to start the day off with a squirty rocket fight.

Picture page is picture page...

Miss M drew her first people pictures on Friday. I love the way kids draw. Just to be clear, Ariel is on the left and Cinderella is on the right (in case you couldn't tell). I just had to share this.

The Big Bounce

We love to take walks around the circle. Quite often while we are walking, our friends are out so we have to stop and play (and socalize). Thursday, while we were on our walk, we stopped by some of our favorite friends in the neighborhood and played for a while. They just got a trampoline so the kids all had to jump on it until they were hot, sweaty messes. Hey, that's what kids do, right? I'm learning, very quickly, that two showers per day are not uncommon when you are outside playing hard. I'd rather they have to have two showers then not get to play! So, here are some pictures of the kids playing and jumping.

The girls swinging (higher mommy, higher mommy!)

Oh what fun jumping can be!

Long time

Well, it's been a while since I've been on. I have good news, I got a new camera yesterday! It's been 2 LONG months since I've had a camera. So, here are some of the pics that I took today with it.
I love this camera! It is so cool. I can take color, sepia, and black and white pics with it. It can also take 3 to 4 pics right in a row so you can choose the best picture. It has a 3 inch lcd screen! I am just so excited. Here is a picture that I took in black and white ( love that I don't have to do this on the computer).
We also stopped by daddy's work today and while we were there, we had to snap a quick pic of the kids in front of one of the signs.
I'm thinking about starting a food blog. I know a lot of my friends would like to have recipies and menus for the week. I am concerned though since we will be moving in the next two weeks and life will get crazy. I'll do my best though. Also, my menus for the next few weeks, are going to be whatever is in the fridge and freezer that needs to be eaten before we move. Let me know what you think.
