Dance, baby, dance

So Miss M started dance class in January. She is taking tap and ballet. She is so beautiful in her dance gear. They have a recital in April and I can NOT wait to see them all dressed up and doing their thing.

And this one cracks me up. She is doing her plea (sp?) but as you can see she has to work really hard on it.

After class she got her sticker and was super exctied!

Daddie's 30th Birthday

So Daddie turned 30 January 10th. Since it's just us here, we had a small little party. He ended up going hunting that weekend. So when he came home Sunday we celebrated his birthday. I got him golfing lessons so there are not any pictures to show of that present. 

But the kids got him Guitar Hero! Miss M was so excited to give it to him that as soon as she walked in the door, she asked him if wanted to play his guitar! Totally gave the suprise away, but he loved it anyways.

Here he is teaching Mr Man how to play. He is doing well actually, he's already on Medium.

This is the cake that we got him. It's got sponge cake in it and strawberry icecream in the middle and the icing is more like whip cream. This is become one of our favorite cakes! YUMMY

That I TOTALLY forgot to post OUR Christmas morning pictures. So, here they are.

Excited about their "stash!"

Mr. Man and his Bakugon's. Thank you to our old neighbor for introducing us to them. We now have Bakugon jammies and ball things that we have no - did you hear me NO - idea how to use. I guess they are some sort of game, but unless you are in the Bakugon know, you have no I idea what to do with them.

How fast can you open your present? I can go at lightining speed!

He just really likes to throw the Bakugons over the magnatic card and watch it POP open. Then he leaves it laying on the floor for all to step on (the equivaliant to Legos when we were kids) and for me to try to figure out how to close it again so he can throw it again and watch it POP open again. So much fun!

Santa would not forget Chase. He got Beggin Strips and Miss M had to be the one to give him the first one.

Only thing...she couldn't get them open. So off they went to daddy. Notice what a good begger we have on our hands?! It's no wonder he gets something at every meal. He just melts my heart.

We usually get the newest Disney movie and this year was no exception. Here is our new Snow White movie.

Mr. Man got Monsters vs. Aliens. It's a good movie if you've not seen it. Good for the kids and adults.

Miss M got a new kid tough camera. She has to work on her photography a bit more, but it'll come.

They each got a video game as well and Miss M got her own controller so they can play together now.

Of course we had to try out our new games as soon as everything was opened. This is how they spent the rest of Christmas morning.

So much concentration. Not to mention, Miss M dressed herself that morning.

Puzzled?

The kids really enjoy putting puzzles together. Grandpa B got Mr. Man a skeleton puzzle. Once we got it out of the box, he informed me that he did NOT need help and that I should help Miss M instead.

Bouncie, bouncie, bounce

One of the days, we decided to take the kids to the bounce place. This is a large warehouse that has about 5 large bouncie houses set up inside and the kids can just run from one to the next. All of the kids had a blast jumping there.

They had this HUGE slide. The kids really enjoyed going down it. They look like they are flying in these pictures. I'll bet they felt like they were flying also!

Sledding in the Snow!

While we were in Indiana, we got a LOT of snow. So, of course, we HAD to go sledding. We brought our big sled that holds 3 kids comfortably and headed outside. It was cold, but not too cold, so the kids were able to go outside and spend time out there for quite some time.

Here are the kids getting ready to race down the driveway. Uncle S and Aunt C live on a caul-d-sac so this was a fun and safe past time.

Here they are in the caul-d-sac. I'm not sure who won, but I'm also not sure it really mattered, unless you're Mr. Man!

Everyone was having lots of fun, until daddy realized that something was feeling terribly wrong. He looked down at his foot and realized that he had one major "blow out." The entire sole of his boot had fallen off. So, after a quick change of boots, the fun was back on!

SNOW!!!!!

Ok, everyone's ready to go. Lined up and ready for the race!

After the race. It wasn't until I went down there to get someone that I realized that the snow was covering a big mess of water that was just laying there. Luckly, all of the kids had on lots of clothes and didn't get wet.

Chase HAD to be in on the action.

If you know the Johnson boys at all, you know that they LOVE to be in on the action as well. So here is Uncle S ready to go down the hill with his girls. Daddy...will you please give them a push?!

Then we realized that the play set hadn't been touched. Well, that just can't be! So, everyone hopped on. C was the first to go down the slide.

Miss M going down the slide. I'm not sure if it was because of the snow or the snow pants, but the kids just FLEW down the slide and right off the end of it. It looked like so much fun!

Well, sledding down the hill and playing on the swing set was fun and all, but how in the world can we top it? No problem...just take the mower blades off of the riding tractor, hook up the sled and go!

This provided hours of entertainment this day and 3 days following.

Not one to miss out, daddy hopped onto the back of the sled and Chase ran after everyone.

After coming in we decided to have game night. The "big" kids played Candy Land and Cousin B did a matching game with Grandma B.

Fun day was had by all.

We also had so much fun staying at Uncle S and Aunt C's house. Thanks for hosting us for a whole week! We miss y'all!!!
