In other news, yesterday was my birthday. Yep, I turned 32, but don't feel a day older. What I realized yesterday is that my idea of "celebrating" my birthday has completely changed over the years. In years past, I was worring about where I'd go to party and celebrate, or what kind of a party I wanted to plan. This year, however, my big day fell on a Wednesday. And that Wednesday just happened to be AWANA share store for my kids. So, instead of eating out, going out, or partying for my dinner, I went and lead my AWANA group so that my kids could shop at the store since they worked hard this year to be able to go and get some good loot. I guess when, what you want for your birthday is to not hear any fighting or whining, spending your birthday night at something that makes your kids happy, counts as a good birthday.
With a friend of Mr. Man's from football.
We also had Miss M's last t-ball game of the season Tuesday night. She had a wonderful season this year.
Are we at all suprised that she was the entertainment for the season. Between the faces, dancing, and pulling up her pant legs to turn them into shorts because she's "too hot!", she kept us and the other teams entertained!
She has improved a lot this season.
Her throwing has probably improved the most. She used to not throw the ball very hard and it would go straight to the ground. Now she is able to throw it harder and get some good distance on it. We won't count the throw she did Tuesday night when she let it go behind her head and ended up throwing it behind her instead.
She has also gotten pretty good at batting and is now batting it past the pitcher.
Do we see a resemblance here?
She's always been good at fielding the ball and moving to it. She impresses me every game.
I just love these two! Great season Marlins!!
