Clear eyes, Full hearts, Can't loose...

Yep, that's right. Football season is upon us. This year is especially AWSOME for our household. This year we start full pads, tackle football, and cheerleading!

I can't tell you how much I love this picture!
By the way, this is his "tough" football player face :)

This means two things. 1. We are so CRAZY busy that we barely know what our names are and 2. Not only do we get to watch football on tv, but we also get to sit out in the blazing hot heat and watch our kiddos enjoy themselves. I am truly loving this season of our lives. I have been looking forward to this time in our lives since we lived in Cincinnati and got to watch one of our best friends go through it with their son. Yes, we are busy, but it's a great busy.

We had our first scrimmage two weeks ago. For those of you, who, like me don't know what a scrimmage is, it's just a practice football game. The boys looked good, but we felt like we still had  alot of work to do with them. We also didn't have our jersey's yet, so the boys wore their practice jerseies (or is it jersey's?).

The girls didn't have all of their outfits in yet (their tops were still getting embroidered). So they wore black shorts and purple shirts. They were looking really good as well, but needed to work on their motions also.

This weekend we had our first real games. We WON! It was so much fun! The boys really enjoyed themselves and looked great out on the field.

I loved seeing their first tackle pile-up.

And the girls cheered their first game. They looked GREAT! I was so proud of my little girl. She was really leading the girls. She was loud, she knew the motions, and she was really enegertic.

Doin' her thang.
She looks so little, yet so big!
Of course we thought we were really tough stuff with our nonglare streaks. This picture just makes me smile.
My big boy! I'm so proud!!!
